D4 Tier List is an independent Diablo IV class ranking and build advisory site. No sponsorships, no developer partnerships — rankings reflect community testing and live patch data, nothing else.

What This Site Is

D4 Tier List provides seasonal class tier lists for Diablo IV, updated each season based on patch notes, PTR testing, and community play data. The tier list ranks all eight classes across six game modes — Overall, Solo Self-Found, Speed Farm, Boss Killer, Group Play, and Hardcore — so you can find the right class for how you actually play, not just the top of the overall ladder.

The site also covers permanent Lord of Hatred expansion systems through a set of guide pages: Horadric Cube crafting, the Talisman System, War Plans, Lair Bosses, and the Lord of Hatred expansion itself. These systems carry through every season and are relevant regardless of which season you are playing.

How Rankings Are Determined

PTR Data

Rankings begin with official PTR patch notes and skill data. Every buff, nerf, and rework listed in the PTR is mapped to each class and build to establish a baseline before the season launches.

Community Testing

PTR community testing from high-level players informs the practical ranking. Theoretical patch note analysis is checked against real gameplay results — particularly for speed clear benchmarks and boss kill times.

Mode-Specific Assessment

A class ranked S overall may perform differently in Solo Self-Found or Hardcore. Each game mode is assessed independently — a build that requires Mythic Uniques to function will rank lower in SSF regardless of its overall ceiling.

Live Updates

Rankings are updated at season launch once live data is available. PTR rankings are clearly labelled as PTR. If a class performs significantly differently at launch versus PTR, the tier list is revised.

The Oracle of Sanctuary

The Oracle of Sanctuary is an AI-powered build advisor on the main tier list page. Rather than returning a static recommendation, the Oracle takes your playstyle, experience level, and Season 14 goals as inputs and returns a personalised class and build recommendation with specific tips for Season of Death Awakening.

The Oracle is powered by the Anthropic API and operates with a Season 14-specific knowledge base covering class rankings, builds, and the season's new mechanics. It is not a general AI chatbot — it is scoped specifically to Diablo IV Season 14 recommendations. If input is off-topic it will say so rather than hallucinate an answer.

TierListHQ Network

D4 Tier List is one site in the TierListHQ network.
